The 10 Best Tire Shops in Portland (2026)
In a city where rain and varied terrain make tire health especially important, finding a reliable tire shop matters. This list ranks the 10 best tire shops in Portland using Google review data updated for 2026; we apply a Bayesian-style score that weights a business’s average rating by how many reviews it has so larger sample sizes carry more influence. The selection reflects what local drivers actually said on Google rather than an editorial secret list. Consider this a starting point for comparing shops across Portland’s neighborhoods—look at ratings, review counts, and location when choosing a place for replacement, repair, or seasonal tire service.
This ranking is computed from Google reviews (our method). Listings marked Partner are paid advertising spots: they sit alongside the ranking without changing its order.

Frequently asked questions
How should I choose a tire shop in Portland?
Compare Google ratings and the number of reviews to see how consistent customer feedback is, and read recent reviews for service details. Also check that the shop can handle your vehicle type, offers the brands you want, and provides clear estimates and warranty information before you commit.
What factors affect the cost of new tires and installation?
Tire price depends on size, brand, and performance rating, while installation adds fees for mounting, balancing, and disposal of old tires. Additional services like alignment or run-flat mounting raise the total, so ask for an itemized estimate before work begins.
What should I check before hiring a tire shop?
Ask for a written estimate, confirm which services are included, and verify any warranty or return policy in writing. It’s also wise to check the shop’s hours, turnaround time, and whether they keep your tire size or brand in stock.
How was this ranking of tire shops built?
We ranked businesses using Google review data updated for 2026 and applied a Bayesian-style score that weights each business’s average rating by how many reviews it has. The list reflects ratings and review volume, not a direct audit of service quality, price, or wait times.
