The 10 Best Carpet Cleaning Services in Portland (2026)

Look at recent customer reviews and the number of reviews to judge consistency, confirm the cleaning methods they use and whether those methods suit your carpet fiber, and ask about insurance and any satisfaction guarantees. Getting a written estimate and checking for clear service scope (what’s included and any extra fees) will help you compare providers.

Price typically depends on factors like the size and number of rooms, the level of soiling, carpet type, and any add-on services such as stain treatment or upholstery cleaning. Ask for itemized quotes and whether prices are by the room, square foot, or job to make an apples-to-apples comparison.

Clear fragile items and small objects from the work area, note any existing stains or damage you want them to address, and confirm parking or access instructions. Also verify that the company is insured and ask whether they move furniture and if there’s a floor-drying time to plan around.

This list is built from public Google reviews and uses a Bayesian-style weighting that accounts for both average rating and review volume so that businesses with many reviews are appropriately recognized. The data were compiled from Google listings and updated for 2026; readers should still contact companies directly for current services and availability.
